In this episode, listen to how you can tackle feeling like an ADHD square peg. Alex Hofeldt is a busy Science Communicator. He’s responsible for teaching biology and astronomy to high schoolers as well as producing his own podcast, Beautiful Dust Specks, which marries podcasting with science, wonder, and motivation.
Alex’s Awesome Quote:
“The more you understand
about the science of you
and the universe,
the more stoked it
makes you to be alive.”

If ADHD Makes You Feel Like a Square Peg, Make Square Holes
ADHD has never held Alex back from being his authentic self; although, it’s presented challenges at times. In this episode he shares that in realizing he was a square peg growing up, he decided he’d make square holes. He’s a huge proponent of doing things in a way that works for you, a message that resonates with me as a coach.
I left our time together completely pumped. I bet you will too, enjoy!

ADHD is definitely a blessing and a curse – I agree it’s fun! But at the same time, you do have to be proactive to find ways to harness the ADHD energy! Sounds like Alex was supported well growing up, which is just key to long-term success! And being “body-aware” is awesome! It’s wonderful that Alex makes Science cool! Thank you!
Thanks, James, I will certainly pass this message on to Alex!
