Who better to help folks with ADHD and Asperger’s Syndrome than someone who lives with both?
Alina Kislenko, of ADHD Interrupted, joins me today to talk about the, what she calls, “side affects” of living with a brain like hers.
She coaches groups, parents, and individuals as well as hosts a talk radio show called, Strange Brains. Check out her website, ADHD Interrupted.
Alina’s Awesome Quote:
“The ADHD gives my Asperger’s
more social skills and the Asperger’s
gives my ADHD more focus.”
ADHD and Asperger’s
Describing the ‘civil war’ that is always going on in her mind, Alina shares her experience of living with both, ADHD and Asperger’s Syndrome.
There’s a part of her that’s silly, creative, talkative, and spontaneous, enjoying meeting and talking to new people.
But it’s a side tempered by always wanting to be organized and safe, and thinks ahead contemplating all of the negative outcomes that could happen if not prepared…
Please be sure and share your thoughts on the show in the comments below.
